Groups let you organize communities inside OceanX. They appear in the social widget as the Lobby tab.

Lobby is not live yet. Release date TBC. Chat and voice are live in the meantime — chat rooms are scoped to the page you’re on.

Group types

Groups may be used for:

Trading teams
Research groups
Alpha communities
Friends
DAO communities
Competition teams

Direct messages

Direct messages are planned.

Invite and open access

Groups may support both open and invite-based access depending on configuration.
