# Fees, Cashback & Referrals

> Understand OceanX fees, cashback tiers and referral rewards.

OceanX uses a simple fee and rewards model designed to reward active users.

## Trading fees

OceanX generally charges a flat 1% fee.

Fees may vary by product or integration.

Examples include:

* Meme coin trading
* Perpetuals
* xStocks
* Yield products
* Partner services

Applicable fees are shown inside the OceanX interface where relevant.

## Cashback

  Cashback applies to memecoin trading only for now. Perpetuals, xStocks and Predict are in beta and do not earn cashback; Earn is not live yet. More products will follow.

Users can reduce effective meme coin trading fees through cashback tiers. Cashback is earned as a percentage of fees paid on eligible SOL meme coin trades.

Cashback percentages above apply to meme coin trading fees only.

## Referrals

OceanX includes a three level referral network.

| Network Level | Reward |
| ------------- | -----: |
| Level 1       |    30% |
| Level 2       |     3% |
| Level 3       |     2% |

Level 1 refers to direct referrals.

Level 2 refers to users invited by your referrals.

Level 3 refers to third degree referral activity.

## Points

Points are OceanX's progression currency. They determine your tier, multiplier and cashback rate.

Users can earn points through:

* Meme coin trading volume
* Daily quests
* Referrals

Additional ways to earn may be added in the future.

OceanX typically charges a 1% flat fee, but fees may vary by service.

### Does cashback apply to every product?

No. Cashback applies to meme coin trading only for now. Other products are coming soon and will have their own fee and reward structures when they launch.
